Gammon Koval, M.Sc.

Gammon started his education in marine science at the University of Miami where he worked in the Benthic Ecology and Coral Restoration Lab outplanting endangered corals onto the Florida reef. After transitioning to the West Coast, he graduated in 2022 with his Master of Science in Marine Science from Moss Landing Marine Laboratories. His thesis investigated the seasonal shifts in the surf zone assemblage of central California. While at the Farallon Institute, Gammon works with Dr. Marisol García-Reyes to help with the Multivariate Ocean Climate Indicator (MOCI) among other projects.
